Refund Policy
At A1 Driving School NJ, we strive to provide the highest quality driving education. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have established the following refund policy to be fair to both our students and our instructors.
Eligible for Refund
- • Unused prepaid lesson packages (within 6 months).
- • Lessons cancelled by the school due to weather or emergency.
- • Road test services cancelled with 72-hour notice.
Non-Refundable
- • Completed driving lessons or road tests.
- • NJ MVC Permit processing fees.
- • Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hour notice.
- • Packages older than 6 months.
1Package Refunds
If you purchase a multi-lesson package and decide to discontinue training, you are eligible for a refund on the remaining unused hours. Refunds will be calculated based on the individual hourly rate ($85) for the lessons already completed, rather than the discounted package rate. A $25 administrative processing fee applies to all refund requests.
2Road Test Services
Road test services (vehicle rental and warm-up) require significant coordination. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice are subject to a 50% late cancellation fee. No-shows on the day of the test are non-refundable.
3How to Request a Refund
Process:
- Send an email to refunds@a1drivingschoolnj.com
- Include your full name, enrollment date, and reason for refund.
- Allow 7-10 business days for processing after approval.
